Beautifully display your wedding details on your fan and your guests will thank you on a hot summer day. The program fan templates are 5” x 7” and double sided. Display your name, event date and location on the front. List your ceremony schedule and wedding party on the back.
The center of the fan or grouping of fans should be at eye level, or about 60 inches from the floor. The fan display should be in relation to the size of the wall. In other words, don't hang a small fan on a large wall all by itself. via
How do you make a paper fan step by step?
Decorate your piece of paper in your desired design. For this you can use a pencil to draw it out and color them in with crayons, pencil crayons or markers.
Start at one end of the paper.
Take one end of the folded paper and pinch it together.
Tape the pinched end together to hold together your fan.
In the 17th century the folding fan, and its attendant semiotic culture, were introduced from Japan. Simpler fans were developed in China, Greece, and Egypt. East Asian (Japanese and Chinese) imports became popular in Europe. These fans are particularly well displayed in the portraits of the high-born women of the era. via

Step #1: Take one sheet of paper. You may use more than one sheet of paper if you want to make a bigger fan.
Step #2: Fold pleats into sheet of paper at the ends. Pleats should be about 1/2 inch wide.
Step #3: Tie string at the bottom to secure your fan. Cool off!
